Hello everyone.
Another week, another newsletter! Yay consistent me! This week started off snowy and blustery. I hope everyone stayed safe and cozy. I love the view in the winter from our store. Especially when the sun is shining and it pours in the windows.
The one thing about posting weekly in the winter is that I don’t always have a lot to say in my little opening note. 🙂
That’s ok. I have some fun sections below for you to enjoy, as well as a new blog!
Take care,
Amanda, Chris & Abbie
Honeybells
To help counter the winter blues, we brought in some Florida Honeybell Oranges (also known as Minneola Tangelos) in the market for a short period of time! These are a delicious tangerine/grapefruit hybrid. They are extremely juicy and easy to peel. Come get some while they are still in season. CLICK HERE
The Land
Did you know we sell our apples and produce to several amazing Cleveland businesses? I drove the deliveries up last week and had a blast, since Cleveland is my hometown! If you live in Cleveland or are looking for a road trip for some great food–check out these amazing places:
Abbie Update
I thought it would be fun to do a quick update about our daughter, Abigail. She is a little over two and half. She’s a ball of energy, full of confidence with a fierce independent spirit (like her Dada). Here she is in her new big girl bed! She loves chicken nuggets, chicken salad (with no crunchy parts), mac and cheese, applesauce (made by her Baba, of course), and lots of other foods. She adores Minnie Mouse and Paw Patrol. Her favorite thing to do at the market right now is get a cookie. She also loves taking walks in the orchard with her Baba, “Unki Matt,” Sky and Cooper. She’s a delightful little girl and we love her so much!
Cooper’s Corner
OK. I am not converting the whole newsletter to stories about Cooper, but for those dog lovers out there, I will dedicate a section at the end to this little ball of fluff. He is adjusting to our home quite well. We just installed some gates to keep him from eating cat food. He is learning the commands “sit,” “down,” and “come” at the moment and doing really well (’cause he’s a genius). Abbie is learning to give him a puppy toy when he wants to take her Minnie doll. He loves giving kisses. He loves food. And he LOVES Uncle Matt’s dog, Sky. Playtime with her results in a VERY wet, slobbery and exhausted Cooper. Basically, he is a typical puppy with bursts of energy, followed by passing out and dreaming. Here he is during my morning work out. 🙂 He’s a love and a joy and we look forward to sharing more of him with all of you!
