Newsletter: Winter Orchard Tour

Hello everyone!

If you can’t tell, or have not watched them yet, I am having a blast making videos for our orchard!  It is so much fun to run around the farm looking for things to film and share with you guys.  I have a lot of ideas for upcoming videos, so stay tuned.

This week, I made a “Winter Orchard Tour” video.  I walked around our orchard and took footage of all the trees and some other produce we grow.  I can’t wait to do this in the spring, summer and fall!

This week I am working on a video about the children’s section in our store.  It might feature a special guest.  🙂

That’s it for now!

Have a great week.

Take Care,

Amanda, Chris & Abbie

What does our orchard look like in the winter? Watch this video to find out and learn a little bit about our farm! As always, there are bloopers to brighten your day at the end. Come on out and visit us soon!

Handmade Aprons

Linda Tasker, the woman who makes the glass work in our store, also designs and makes one-of-a-kind aprons. Each piece is unique and you won’t find anywhere else! An amazing gift your a friend or yourself.  I love how she upcycles clothes and materials. Come and check them out in our store.

Every Day I’m Puzzlin’

NEW PUZZLES!! We just got a shipment of new gorgeous puzzles from Flame Tree Publishing. I want to stay home for a few days with a cup of Hot Cinnamon Spice tea and do all the puzzles.

Doing the To-Dos

I shared this Wrendale desk pad in my Favorites Video, but I wanted to highlight it a little more. I started using this in January and I just love it. Every week, I add all my to-dos. During the week, I take notes, check off my tasks, and keep track of my work here at the orchard! On Sunday, I transfer all of the checks I didn’t quite finish and I have a clean slate ready for Tuesday.  I highly recommend this for those who love to keep organized–or at least try, like me. 🙂

Cooper’s Corner

Cooper Dooper.  He’s doing great. Good news, he is no longer barking at me when I give him the “stay” command.  He has mastered sit and down and sometimes will just lay down in front of me and look up…as if to say…”See, I did it…can I have a treat!?”
My favorite development is his growing relationship with our cat, Toby.  Cooper loves goofing around the house with Toby.  We have yet to figure out if Toby is playing with Cooper or plotting something against him.
