We had a little bit of a scare this past weekend when temperatures dropped down into the low thirties for a couple of nights. We got the row covers out and covered the strawberries, then crossed our fingers for them and our other crops. Luckily it seems like we got out of it with pretty minimal damage. The frost damaged some strawberry blossoms here and and there, but overall it was a pretty small percentage. And all the fruit that isn’t right on the ground (aka, just about everything else we grow) came through fine. The temperatures must’ve only been cold enough right at ground level (since cold air sinks) to cause damage. So, things still look really good! I’ve included below my recent batch of photos to show you how things look right now.
