D’Anjou – One of the most popular pears. Very juicy, but they hold up well in heated applications like baking, poaching, roasting, or grilling. They are also delicious when sliced fresh in salads or eaten as an out-of-hand snack.
Red Anjou – Juicy with a fresh, sweet, and slightly tangy flavor.
Forelle – An heirloom variety. Smallish size, sweet, and crisp. A great snacking pear!
