Flavor: Spicy, tangy
Approximate Ripening: Mid-late July
Uses: All purpose; excels for eating out of hand
Trivia: Released by PRI (Purdue-Rutgers-Illinois) in 1995
Notes: Arguably the best summer apple for eating out of hand. The soft, melting flesh has a very distinct, mouth-clearing aftertaste. Starts a pale green-yellow and matures to bright yellow, sometimes with a little orange blush where kissed by the sun.
