What: A four-day, half-day summer camp at a working orchard

Description:
At Rittman Orchard’s Berry Camp, young children will learn how food gets from the farm to their house.
This camp is a hands-on learning opportunity with a retired elementary school teacher and wonderful camp counselor. Over the course of four days, your child will learn how we plant, care for and harvest berries at our orchard. Each day will focus on a different berry. On arrival, we sit as a group to connect, get ready for the day and learn facts about the berries we intend to pick. We have a well-planned daily routine that includes a read-a-loud, snack, crafts and playtime! Children pick and bring home strawberries**, blueberries and raspberries. The day ends with group games on the lawn outside our market. All children receive a Berry Camp tee-shirt included in the price of registration!
Note: Snack will be provided. (Goldfish, Cheese Sticks, Pretzels, etc.)

After we receive your registration payment, we will email you a form to fill out with details about your camper(s). You are required to fill out these forms before camp starts. Thank you!
IMPORTANT WHEN REGISTERING:
At checkout, select Local Pickup and then select any date/time. Our system is set up this way so we can do curbside pickup for our products, but there is nothing for you to pick up in this case. If it’s still not working, make sure you have “Shipping to a different address” UNCHECKED. Then look for the calendar to pick a day.
If you need to cancel your enrollment, for any reason, we will issue a full refund provided that the cancellation occurs before June 1. If you have to cancel after this date, we can refund half of the cost of camp, as it is harder to find children to fill the spot.
