It’s finally strawberry season!! We’ve got a few picked berries in the market right now, but we got rained out this morning, so I’m not sure how long they’ll last and if we’ll be able to pick many more today. However, tomorrow and going forward, we’re hoping to have a good supply every day for a few weeks.
In other big strawberry news, we’ll be opening our strawberry fields for pick your own starting this Saturday (June 8th) at 8am. 8am? Yes, this will also be the first day of our summer berry hours. During berry season, our hours are 8am – 6pm Tues – Sat and 11am – 5pm Sundays.
If you’ve never picked with us before, you’re welcome to bring your own non-glass containers to pick into, or we have 5 quart buckets available to purchase. We weigh your containers before and after you’re done, so we only charge you for the berries you pick. Pick your own strawberries are $1.75/lb. this year.
Finally, don’t miss our annual Strawberry Jamboree. This year, it’s on June 15th and 16th, and it’s always a great time! Lots of strawberries, food trucks, live music, a Humane Society adoption events, and more! For details, please visit our Events page.
That’s it for now. I’m planning to post a crop update later today or tomorrow. Thanks for reading!

We’ll probably start picking blueberries for the market within a couple of weeks. U-pick will probably open late in the month.

Nice catch. Thank you, Carrie! I fixed it.
